From a pilot that won't stay lit to a full tankless upgrade, we bring the same care to every visit, because to the person waiting on a hot shower, it does.
We keep our focus narrow on purpose. Instead of doing a little of everything, we spend our days on water heaters: gas, electric, and heat pump units, repairs and replacements. That focus is why our technicians get to the answer fast.
Santa Cruz Water Heater focuses on water heaters for homeowners, landlords, and businesses across the area. We fix gas and electric tanks, install and service tankless units, set up heat pump water heaters, and handle the emergencies, like a flooded utility closet or a house with no hot water.
Our approach is simple: find the real cause, explain it clearly, and quote it before we start. When a repair makes sense, we say so, even if a new heater would be a bigger ticket. When a replacement is the right call, we size it to how your household actually uses hot water and install it with the code items your area requires, from expansion tanks to proper venting.
Being local means we can get to you quickly, and it means our reputation rests on word of mouth from our neighbors. That's why we answer the phone, show up on time, and clean up before we leave.
Every job starts with safety. We look for gas leaks and backdrafting on gas heaters, verify wiring and breakers on electric units, and make sure the relief valve and its discharge line work the way they should.
Our technicians keep up with every major water heater brand and type (standard tanks, tankless units, heat pump models, and commercial heaters), so the right fix comes quickly.
Local service means accountability. If something isn't right after a visit, you call the same team that did the work, and we make it right.
